Very true, there is no shortage of amazing music out there today. That said it does take a little digging and therefore its understandable to hear people dismiss current mainstream pop culture as 'dross' 
. If you're over 40, have not grown up in clubs or now spend your time trolling around YouTube its possible that you don't even know what Dubstep is. That couldn't be said for the same demographic during the 50's 60's who couldn't escape the 'devil music' pumping out of their radios and televisions if they tried. I find it interesting that for once we will be a generation of oldies complaining how bland and boring pop culture is and how the youth of today need to step it up and shake s#it up. I hope I'm proved wrong and am patiently waiting for this withered old brain to be blown away by something I simply can't comprehend.
