many people complain that i express or the way i do here ... lol anyway ... sometimes this is difficult to express all what we want at a time
higher ratings are sometimes fooling rather any other things. the thing is that many guys do not have 3 ratings on their items and thus no rating is being shown
lots of guys let themselves go into buying popular or supposedly good items but they end up buying sone things that are not always that good
sorry to say just that but popularity has much to do with marketing skills, not design quality in most cases. there are pretty good examples here to illustrate what i am saying ...
for me ratings are no interesting, period. for me they are biased by some unfair ratings that many guys suffer from. if nothing like this was existing they would be good for buyer-seller relationship as u mentioned. problem is that these unfairness examples are from being unusual
there are no poor authors as for this we do not agree. there are sone guys who play the number thing ... can we blame them for this in a volume based system, well no , they play with rules and flaws
and the idea about authors is not at all what i tried to explain, the general body of authors here is just very good, sometimes even impressive, this is more about strategy and also about being coherent as quality control is all about
this is marketplace's responsibility to avoir flat / not good enough things and thus prevent the saturation of the market
envato is giving a huge exposure? really ? lol well try to put your item for sale, have it accepted , do not post anything for long and try to see what is going on .. u will realize that no other uploaded item after 2 weeks, u just do not have any sale anymore (unless u self promote a LOT) , if this is what u call giving good exposure, well , we do not have the same idea of what good exposure is ...

My first theme-Feedback
Hey there
First thing is that it took about 35 seconds to load.
About title h2 is too small, could be better font too.
Team h4 should be larger font.
the 4 boxes under the team images should be lined up to the text and should be evenly spaced.
Gallery image spacing is not consistent.
There are other things too like the images are not the greatest.

Need feedback before submitting HTML & CSS Template
Hey Patiss
NOt bad for starters but there are many things like typo and over all feel is not there yet. Need to work on responsiveness as well.
Image slider image is stretched and i think you need better quality images to showcase the template.
Menu is pretty basic and not responsive.
Gallery images do not popup in a lightbox they are not doing anything.
Search icons does nothing.
Design elements are not consistent meaning buttons are rounded then date background is square.
Footer social icons are flat design do not go with the rest of the design.
The discography player is not really well designed too much empty space on the right of the player list.
I would do a footer music player and make it ajax so when you change pages the music do not stop or at least have that option.
Also missing a music player either mp3 or soundcloud.

Very Disrespectful Envato Member
So you not only got a refund but also left a bad rating to hurt the author and their livelihood. As if that is not enough, you now want to call them out publicly on the forums and shame them.
The only fault I am finding with the author is contacting you on Facebook and not wanting to help you initially but you did get a refund, so don't you think it has gone far enough?
Think it's time that the both of you parted ways and minimized your damages. Quite disappointing really. Don't even know what to say.

Hi @KreaHive! The automated withdrawals are based on earnings made between each start and end date of each month (e.g. Mar 1 - Mar 31). So when the end of the month arrives (Australia date/time), your balance resets to $0, and any new/subsequent earnings will be part of the following month's earnings. You will then receive your automated withdrawal for that month (e.g. March) on/around the 15th of the next month (April). Hope this helps!

There is no binding contract tying the license to a specific URL so you should be able to do that just fine as long as there is only 1 website using the single license purchased. Simply use your moral obligation in this case

Locked out of my account after purchase!
I have the same problem. I was about to complete the purchase and hit submit and was given the message that I was locked out of my account. I contacted envato help but haven't heard back and am working under a deadline.
I then went and created a new account and got all the way to the final step of checkout again only to be locked out of that account as well. I then went and submitted a support request and am still waiting to hear back.
This is really costing me time/money.

Envato Studio’s new Audio categories are now live!
I was going to stay out of this because it is sooooo tiring trying to change people's minds about this stuff. It's really not AJ's fault. It's composers! For some crazy reason, there are just too many of them that think $200 is a fair deal to write a custom track for 10 to 30 hours and then lose the copyright to the client buying it. Remember the thread where from one month ago a customer came on and said I need to do an artist direct deal because AJ can not supply the license for what I a need to do for my app? Well I inquired as many of us did. The customer came out and said I am willing to pay the full broadcast price of $308 for what I want to do. Offer the song within his app so people can make videos easily and use tracks in his app. Shoot a family video for example, then add a track. He said "I am willing to pay the broadcast license" Well guess what, the tracks he selected were licensed for $150 and $200. Is that AJ's fault?
Even VO folks are not willing to under sell themselves in this market. They want $150 for 1 hour of work based on what I have seen. When they say "I will record a 2 minute VO for you and allow 1 or 2 revisions for $150" They are basically saying I want $150 for 1 hour of my time! And guess what? They get it!
So I have to ask all of you guys advertising for $200 a score...why bother? Do you really want to work for $7 to $10 per hour and lose control of your copyright? Do you really think that customers will respect your skills when you advertise at that price?
What AJ can do is recognize these points that we all are making, that this is a serious problem. I suggest making the minimum price $1000 for a 2 minute original score and the max $3000. You may actually see some people buy. Maybe I spoke too soon about the VO folks. But that needs work and clarification too. I see one person advertising at $40. $40 for what? 30 seconds of VO, 60? 2 Minutes? 30 minutes? then I see Briefing Details Send me the script and I'll send you a quote. It comes across as "bait with a low price, then switch after the script is revealed and you realize ...Oh man...this gig is going to take all day!" I am curious about where VO is going here because I buy VO services in multiple languages all the time.

Themeforest Starting to Lose Value
For a long time, ThemeForest has been my "go to" for Drupal themes but honestly, every time a new theme comes out I find myself sighing with frustration that it is yet another tired ass layout just like the previous 50 themes before it. Is there no creativity out there with these theme authors? Every single Drupal theme has the exact same layout, with just slightly different styling for Bootstrap and maybe some nifty javascript magic to make hovers work differently.
TF is simply starting to lose value for me. I'm frustrated with Envato for letting so many of these lame "remixed" layout themes into the market and I'm frustrated with the theme authors for not even trying to be original or niche. Yeah, all the blogs out there are telling you guys that a great way to make passive income is to make web themes and sell them on TF but have a little integrity and try to come up with something original, at least every now and then... Stop with all the agency layouts that has the same CTA's, the same portfolios, the same team, the same EVERYTHING!

Vector eps Help - my submission "is not ready yet" but I don't know how to fix it
Hi, I tried to make my first submission in the graphic - character vector section. Took me a huge time to complete the artwork of course, but today they kindly said to me that my submission is not ready yet.
I expanded even what I didn't want to expand just to be sure, and ok, but I can't find a decent tutorial on how to create a vector eps that would not convert gradients into raster and it's making me go mad ):
what should I do? is it something I unchecked? I have illustrator CS6 and in the submission tab they ask for the eps 10 version.
I can't take out the gradients cause they would kill the picture, and when I try to expand them I cannot specify the 250 elements. Also I added some glow effects and they get turned into raster in the eps. Should I delete them one by one or is there a quick way to fix it?

This always happens, I think I am due to beat my sales record the last couple of days before the month closes and they stop. I am pretty convinced sales are capped. It happens too often.

A month or more without a new product and without a weekly top theme sales can start dropping. Interesting is how envato can simlpy alter there review times if we do that in our support we get wrath from our clients even got a request for explanatio from envato because one client falsly accused us that we missed the 24 hour response time. We had to actually proove it

1 star rating by the buyer asking to support after support expired
@leafcolor, This whole discussion is wasted when vendors (Authors?) Don't reply to buyers asking pre sales question about missing or confussing description of themes. Forget the support issue for now, it won't exist if a seller hasn't got the common courtesy to respond to simple questions from someone intending to buy their software.
What point is there in complaining about expired support when half a dozen authors all simply don't answer pre-sales questions? Maybe the 1 star rating should be applicable to the idiots who send automatic replies telling an enquirer who used the correct message form that their request won't be answered unless they submit it from the forum?
Let that Canadian idiot who sent the message stand up and identify himself. How he even sells a Directory or anything at all is beyond comprehension. Its this sort of stupidity that and the slack thinking that software is a product, not a service and only services need to be supported that is the root of bad ratings.
