Anyway, back on topic: i think it's a bit of an unlucky rejection. Should you have landed a different reviewer, he/she might have accepted it. It's a very solid package, my only advice is that in some places you used a plain ol' fade as a transition, which might come across as a bit dull and lazy. Some other transitions could've been a bit more interesting by using a combination of color, for example when an element slides in with a ghosting effect, some of the layers in the ghosting could be white AND blue instead of just blue, and backgrounds overall might use some very subtle hard edges masks with low opacity to give it slightly more depth.
You want to keep it clean but just a little bit of animated elements in the background happening somewhere can add a lot, as long as it's not distracting. Hope that helped
